Reviews and Ratings <br />
This hotel is a hidden gem in northern Japan with a wonderful immersion into Japanese culture. The rooms offered a unique experience with a private onsen, and the food was mostly good, especially at breakfast. However, the Wi-Fi could be improved for better connectivity, and the dining experience felt average at times.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which is well-designed and stylish, making it a nice base for exploring the Shiretoko area. My room was spacious and came with a lovely view of the sea, although the onsen experience was a bit underwhelming. The dining options were decent, with a buffet that was above average but still a buffet. Overall, it’s a good pick for those who enjoy larger tourist hotels, but it might not suit those looking for a more authentic experience.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel with a beautiful modern room that offered an incredible view of the Sea of Okhotsk. The service was polite, although at times it felt a bit impersonal, and I encountered some communication challenges. The onsen facilities were a highlight of my visit, along with the decent breakfast options. However, the dining experience in the buffet could be improved. Overall, I found this to be a great base for exploring the area, considering the limited lodging options nearby.
This hotel offers a serene escape with stunning views of the Okhotsk Sea, especially from the open-air onsen on the rooftop. The rooms are cozy and provide a peaceful atmosphere, though the dining experience can get crowded and may lack variety. While the journey to the hotel is long, the breathtaking scenery makes it worthwhile. Overall, it's a beautiful spot for relaxation, but some aspects like meal options could be improved.
I had a delightful stay at this resort with a breathtaking sunset view from the indoor onsen and a wonderful outdoor foot spa that was perfect for winter relaxation. The food was fantastic, especially the pastries. However, I did notice some areas that could use improvement, like the dark hallway we stumbled upon and the need for the staff to be more welcoming to non-Japanese speakers.
